Some questions about Vietnam Visa

Unread postby Kathryn » Wed Nov 18, 2015 5:06 pm

I am citizen of Myanmar and really happy and exciting to visit your country in April. It is for a tourism purpose only.
I do wish to enquire some information. I have return ticket for Yangoon and Hanoi. My plan is also visit to Cambodia. So I would visit Vietnam for 13 days, than visit Cambodia for 5 days. Finally visit Vietnam again and my flight back to Yangon from Hanoi.
Will this scenario cause problems for my visa? Can I re - enter Vietnam after 5 days in Cambodia? Or Do I need different visa? For Myanmar citizens we get 14 days free visa. Can I renew my free visa after Cambodia? Hopefully you can answer these questions of mine. I think you in advance.
Yours sincerely,
Kathryn

By regulation, you cannot enter Vietnam with visa exemption status if your last exit is within 30 days, so you need visa for second entry.
An other solution is getting multiple entries visa, you can enter and exit as many times as you wish.

I'm travelling to Bangkok next week. I want to visit Vietnam as well, but as a US citizen, I understand that I need a visa. Does anyone know:
1) Is there enough time to get a Vietnam visa in the US?
2) Is there a place in Bangkok to get a Vietnam visa?
Thank you so much in advance!

1) It is too rush to get visa in US, maybe extra charge applied
2) Yes, you can get visa in Bangkok
If you travel from Bangkok to Vietnam by air, we recommend visa on arrival, quick, cheap and hassle-free.
