Information and documents needed to get Vietnam visa

Does a person need a print Approval letter out or not?

Unread postby Hully » Mon May 12, 2014 11:02 am

I read the information on visas on arrival and it indicates toprint off the Approval letter. However, we are no where near a printer (currently in Nha Trang in Vietnam on a single entry visa from Canada) We want to go to laos and then back to Hanoi to fly back to Canada. Question is: does a person really need a print out or will an email on our ipad suffice?
Thanks in advance for any replies!

You have to show the HARD copy of the letter to get your visa stamped. Even airlines will not allow you to check-in without a copy of visa aproval letter.

By regulation you have to bring a hard copy to show when check-in flight to Vietnam and show at Immigration Office to get visa stamped. There maybe some exceptional case but do not risk.
