Need Vietnam, CAmbodia, Laos visas

Unread postby Faxiet » Wed Mar 12, 2014 10:45 am

I am in China and need to get a visa for Vietnam. Can I get a multiple entry visa at Nanning.
How much is it and more importantly, how long will it take? I am Canadian. What is the address to apply?
Also, what about visas for Cambodia and Laos.
Would it be simpler and as cheap to fly to Bangkok and apply there for a Vietnam visa.

For visa fee at Embassy, you have to go there. Each Embassy has different visa fee policy. You can see address of Vietnam Embassy/Consulate in China at: http://www.vietnamvisasite.com/Vietnam-visa-Chinese.htm
If you go to Vietnam by flight, the best way is visa on arrival, you do not have to go any where and you know exactly how much you have to pay for your Vietnam visa just sitting before your PC.
For Laos and Cambodia visas, good news is you can get visa on arrival without being pre-approved like Vietnam. But remember to double-check on the Internet as each country has their own visa policy, especially nationality issue.

We are travelling overland from PP to HCMC in August. Can we get a 30 day Vietnam visa in PP and if so how long will it take? Any ideas on how much it will cost? We are UK citizens. Many thanks for any help!

Geeting Vietnam visa in PP is easy, may travel agents offer this service. They also offer 1-day service. The price is around $70, depending on type of visa you request.

What visa do you need? Vietnam or Cambodia visa? If you enter Cambodia through land border from Vietnam you can get Cambodia visa on arrival, at border gate.

Hi guys,
I need to organize a Vietnam & Cambodian VISA in Australia prior to our holiday.
Just wondering how much it should cost for each as well as postage costs as our travel agent is quoting us $250 for only Vietnam VISA which seems odd...
Thank-you

Depending on the visa you need, for 1 month single entry visa you have to pay $17 for service fee and $45 stamping fee at Vietnam airport, no more. Apply at: https://www.vietnam-visa-service.com/information/
For Cambodia visa, it is so easy that no one offers visa service, you can easily get on arrival, costing around $25

Hi Guys,
My wife and I are thinking of traveling to bangkok and then take a train to Nong Khai and bus to Vientaine. And then after traveling around Laos we intend to cross the border to Vietnam (by train or bus).
Correct if Im wrong, British nationals do not require visa for Laos?
Im am aware that british national do require visa for Vietnam so was wondering where and how do we get the visa for Vietnam? As Vietnam is not the first destination from UK, I assume its not possible to get the Visa for Vietnam from here.
We hope to spend a month or so traveling through a few of the countries in aisa, but we hope to start off our journey from Bangkok.
So any suggestions guys?
Thanks,
Irma

You should get Vietnam visa in Laos.
For Laos visa exemption for UK travelers, please check more, we do not see UK in Laos' visa free list. But do not worry much as Laos visa is easily to get at border, on arrival.
