Can get visa at Embassy before travelling Vietnam or not?

Hello, We are two spanish people interested to visit Vietnam but we dont''t have visa and no approval letter. Our intention is visit Thailand and Cambodja and then visit Vietnam by bus or train and our question is if is posible to get visa in Vietnam Embassy in Bangkok on 10th April? We dont''h know the exactly day to stay in Vietnam but approximate on 15th April, is there any problem for dates in visa?

Yes, if you enter Vietnam from Cambodia by bus you have to get visa in advance.
You can get Vietnam visa at Vietnam Embassy in Bangkok, Phnompenh or Siem Reap.
For your date of arrival, you will be granted with 1 month visa. You can enter Vietnam within that period and have to exit by the last day. When you apply for visa, you do not need to know the axact dates, just give them the approximate dates.

will be in Phuket for 7 days is it easy to get visa for Vietnam while im there or get in Sydney before I go any chep travel agents for visa as its hard to go to embassy

You can get Vietnam visa at any Embassy/Consulate abroad, just select the most convenient one for you at:

I am leaving for a trip to SE Asia in mid January. I need to obtain a Vietnam visa for my land entrance to Vietnam. I am leaning to using an agent to obtain that visa without sending my passport. What agent(s) would you recommend ?

If you travel to Vietnam with land entrance you have to get Vietnam visa stamped into your passport in advance. How people stamp visa into your passport without having your passport? If you feel anxious leaving your passport to other hands you should go directly to Embassy to apply yourself.
